Google Photos has turned into one of the Mountain View company’s most popular services, owing to seamless backup functionality and some handy features. Last week’s Google I/O developer conference revealed a few major features coming to the platform, but it looks like the company has quietly activated several more features this week.
The platform now suggests that you archive screenshots and photos of receipts/menus/labels, Android Police reports. To see the feature in action, you simply need to tap on the desired screenshot or photo, resulting in a prompt at the bottom of the screen.
Interestingly, a receipt prompt appeared for a photo of my computer screen which I had taken for an earlier article. I doubt it was intentional, but it could be handy if you’re like me and occasionally take photos of important information displayed on a desktop website.

Google Photos will also suggest you rotate pictures that were accidentally saved in the wrong orientation, the publication adds.
The other noteworthy feature is a prompt to fix brightness for dark photos. Results can be very noticeable, potentially saving you a few minutes of manual editing. Take a look at the before (L) and after comparison below.
