Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 2022 Straps

TL;DR

  • There are many new Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 straps available.
  • Samsung is also launching new watch faces, sleep-tracking features, and more.
  • However, the company is still non-committal when it comes to Google Assistant support.

Today, the company is launching a whole bunch of new Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 straps that will become available in late February. It is also launching new features for the watch series, including advanced sleep-tracking, better health metrics and coaching, as well as some new watch faces.

There are two new colors in the traditional Sport Band line: Burgundy and Cream. Burgundy is a color we expect to see with the Galaxy S22 Ultra, so that will be a nice way for you to color-match your watch to your phone.

Additionally, the company is unveiling two new styles of strap: Fabric Band and Link Bracelet. The Fabric Band is exactly what it sounds like while the link bracelet is a series of metal connectors that will give your watch a classic look.

Meanwhile, Samsung is also launching new watch face customization elements, including colors and fonts. When combined with the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 straps, you could make your watch feel brand new.

Finally, a whole slew of new health-focused features are on the way. Cyclists and runners get new interval target features, while everyone gets a new sleep-tracking suite that basically gamifies sleeping. You get assigned a certain animal to match your sleeping style and then receive “missions” to help get better sleep.

Unfortunately, Samsung isn’t including Google Assistant support with all these updates. The company still won’t commit to a solid launch date, simply saying it will land “in the coming months.”
