Even though many say that seeing is believing, in the world of sports cars, experiencing is believing. That’s why Lotus announced today that it is expanding its driving experience program to three new tracks in the U.S.
Atlanta Motorsports Park in Atlanta, Georgia; Radford Racing School in Chandler, Arizona; and Utah Motorsport Campus in Grantsville, Utah, have all joined the program for 2022. The Lotus Driving Experience provides customers and potential buyers with a hands-on experience of the full capabilities of Lotus vehicles in a safe, closed-track environment.
The program offers participants the chance to experience the Evora GT from behind the wheel and alongside a professional instructor. The plan is to expand the service to include future Lotus vehicles once they become available.

“These three facilities are the perfect venues for the Lotus Track Experience and we are thrilled to have them on board,” said Camille Landry, Marketing & Communications Lead for Lotus Cars USA. “With this program, enthusiasts across the country now have the opportunity to safely experience the thrill of driving the Lotus products in a track environment with qualified instructors to get the most out of both the cars and themselves.”
Other automakers offer driving experiences at tracks around the world, while Porsche has been working to add corners from tracks around the world to its private tracks in the U.S. and Japan.
Lotus celebrated its best sales performance in a decade in 2021 and the U.S. was its top-performing market. The company recently bid farewell to its long-serving Elise, Exige, and Evora models, but their replacement, the Emira, has finally been unveiled. Powered by a 3.5-liter Toyota V6 fed by an Edelbrock supercharger, it makes 400 hp (298 kW/405 PS) and up to 317 lb-ft (430 Nm) of torque.
