Lamborghinis Just Want To Have Fun In The Snow

After a hiatus due to the pandemic, the Lamborghini Accademia Neve winter sports vacation program is back for clients who want to have fun with supercars in the snow and receive some training from professional racing drivers.

In this three-day event hosted in Livigno at the Italian Alps, Lamborghini clients will sit behind the wheel of the Huracán range, including the AWD EVO and the RWD STO flagship, as well as the Urus. Besides Lamborghini’s SUV, the most fitting vehicle for the scenery would be the off-road prepped Huracán Sterrato, but this will likely join next year’s event since it hasn’t been unveiled yet. Still, sliding around with a Huracán STO in an icy course sounds like fun.

A team of professional racing drivers from the Squadra Corse will guide visitors into exploring the full potential of the high-performance vehicles, helping them to improve their driving skills in snow and ice conditions. Temperatures will be around zero degrees Celsius during the day and minus 10 degrees at night (32 to 14 degrees Fahrenheit). This sounds like a harsh environment but after the driving fun ends, Lamborghini clients will be staying in luxury hotels and enjoying meals in high-quality restaurants.

On the contrary, the “Drivers’ Lab” in Sant’Agata, the official training program for Lamborghini factory drivers, doesn’t sound that easy-going. Those who aspire to become Lamborghini pilots have to go through a specialized program with advanced training machines scanning their posture and performance, and personal trainers helping them stay fit with Cryotherapy sessions at the end of each day.

Lamborghini didn’t provide details about the cost of the Esperienza Accademia Neve, but the media material includes some neat footage from the event to make us feel jealous.
