Uber launched its new Uber Explore feature to help riders book experiences and make reservations in their area.

People will now be able to book dinner reservations, buy tickets to live events and get special offers on rides using the new in-app Uber Explore feature, the ridehailing giant said Tuesday. The new feature will recommend personalized experiences to users based on their use of the Uber and Uber Eats apps, with categories including food and drink, art and culture, music and shows and nightlife.
When you go to the Explore tab in the Uber app, you’ll be able to browse experiences and purchase tickets to events directly from the app and get a ride to your destination by clicking the “ride there now” option. Uber will also curate special offers of 15% off on rides up to $10 based on what experiences and activities are popular in your area.
The feature went live Tuesday in 14 US cities including Atlanta, Chicago, New Orleans, New York and San Francisco, as well as in Mexico City.
