Ford Mustang Bullitt Driver Left Red-Faced After Powerslide Goes Wrong

If you’re looking for a powerful performance car that’s reasonably priced, the Ford Mustang is hard to beat.

You could choose to by an entry-level model with its 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder but if you want the real Mustang experience, the 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 is the way to go. And, if you want to really make a statement, the Bullitt variant is a surefire way to do just that. Sadly, the driver of this Mustang Bullitt still needs some more practice with taming its 480 horses.

This clip was filmed during an event held by the Superfastdriversclub in the Netherlands and shows a multitude of high-performance cars leaving the event. If past incidents have taught us something is that, for Mustang drivers, oftentimes leaving a car event is their worst nightmare.

Perhaps inspired by a BMW M5 driver that did a huge burnout while exiting the event, the driver of this Mustang thought he too would put on a show for the spectators. After making a right-turn out of the event, he hits the throttle a little too hard, spinning up the rear wheels of the pony car.

As we have seen so many times in the past, the driver wasn’t able to react quick enough to correct the slide and ends up spinning 180 degrees into the grass on the side of the road. He and his female passenger immediately recognize the humor of what just happened but were no doubt left feeling pretty embarrassed at the driving stunt gone wrong.

Fortunately, no damage was done and when the driver exited the event for a second time, he was able to keep his ego in check and didn’t feel the need to spin up the rear tires again.
