There are many reasons to download a new launcher. You might not like the look and feel of the pre-installed launcher, the new launcher might be a smoother experience, or you simply want the extra features seen in some launchers.
Then again, today’s pre-installed launchers are generally much better than in bygone years, when even an app drawer wasn’t guaranteed. Most OEM launchers are pretty smooth these days, while also offering a good amount of features. So we can understand why you might not feel the need to switch launchers.
