When looking at this odd creation for the first time, you could be excused for thinking it was a vehicle built from the ground up in a garage. In reality, this is a 2008 Cadillac XLR.
This XLR was brought to life by a company known as N2A Motors and converted to look like a Chevrolet from the late 1950s. More specifically, the front end is inspired by a 1957 Chevy, the doors are based on a 1958 Chevy and the rear end is just like a 1959 Chevy. The car was recently sold by Barrett-Jackson for $110,000 during its Palm Beach 2022 event.

Based on the photos, the modifications made appear to have been very well executed. Included in the new front end are round headlights with chrome shrouds, a unique grille, a chrome bumper, and a completely revised hood. N2A Motors appear to have retained the original XLR wheels but that’s pretty much the only part of the exterior that’s gone unchanged.
The top half of the car is painted in Candy Apple Red which is contrasted by Champagne across the lower half, including most of the doors, the rear quarter panels, and the rear fascia. For as bold as the front is, we think the rear is even more eye-catching thanks to the fins crafted into the bodywork and the new taillights. There are also dual tailpipes exiting out of the center of the bumper.
Most of the interior is standard Cadillac XLR, although the car has been re-trimmed in tan-colored leather across the seats, doors, dashboard, and transmission tunnel. There are also plenty of bright red leather accents as well as some wood trim on the center console and dashboard. The original 4.6-liter Northstar V8 engine has been retained and mated to an automatic transmission.
