Militem’s FERŌX500 Makes Jeep’s Wrangler 392 Even More Special And A Helluva More Expensive

Italian coachbuilder Militem is back at it with its latest project, this time dubbed the FERŌX500 and based around the Jeep Wrangler.

Militem’s FERŌX500 started out life as a flagship Wrangler Rubicon 392 but has undergone a plethora of upgrades to overhaul its look while also improving its performance. Those looking to pick up the keys to an example will need to part ways with €149,500 ($158,000).

Starting out the upgrades is an eye-catching body kit that includes an overhauled front fascia with a new bumper and grille. Militem has also flared the wheel arches and fabricated a new hood for the Wrangler, complete with a large air intake to cool the V8. The coachbuilder has also finished all of the exterior hinges in black while also fitting the Wrangler with mudflaps, an LED strip in the front bumper, front parking sensors, electronic retractable running boards, and tinted LEDs.

One of the most striking upgrades are the 22×9.5-inch forged wheels wrapped in 325/50 tires. Those looking for slightly smaller shoes can opt for a set of 20×10-inch wheels with all-terrain tires. Key tweaks made to the rear include the removal of the spare wheel and distinctive quad exhausts.

The brakes of the FERŌX500 are also a healthy upgrade from those of the standard Wrangler Rubicon 392. Found up front are 370 mm discs with six-piston calipers while located at the rear are 370 mm discs with four-piston calipers. Braided brake lines are found at both the front and the rear.

Militem has also worked on the Jeep’s interior. New front seats have been fitted and are wrapped in hand-fitted Nappa leather and Alcantara, finished in a combination of black and red. Newly-appointed leather is also found across the dashboard, instrument panel, door panels, and luggage compartment lining. A new steering wheel with carbon fiber trim has also been fitted and should customers prefer the cabin to look a little less striking than this particular FERŌX500, a plethora of personalization options are available.

As mentioned, each Militem FERŌX500 has a starting price of €149,500 plus VAT. Each model includes a 36 month / 100,000 km warranty.
