Asus ROG Phone 6 Renders Leaked 3

TL;DR

  • Reliable leaker Evan Blass has pushed some renders of the Asus ROG Phone 6.
  • The phone has a similar design aesthetic as previous ROG phones.
  • The cooler accessory looks bigger than ever.

Each year, Asus treats us to what most would agree is the world’s best gaming phone. We are only a few days out from when the company will officially launch the 2022 version.

It appears Asus isn’t changing up its design formula too much this year. If you loved or hated previous ROG Phones, you’ll likely feel the same about this one. Notably, it does appear Asus moved the rear display panel, which should make it easier to see when you are actually playing. That’s a nice touch.

Of course, if you’re using the cooling accessory, you won’t be able to see much of anything on the back of the Asus ROG Phone 6. It is absolutely massive this year, likely to help cool down the notably hot-running Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 inside the phone.

Check out the renders below.

Interestingly, the renders only show the phone in its white colorway. However, it is very likely Asus will offer a black variant as well since it always has, going back to the first ROG Phone.

Previous leaks posit that the ROG Phone 6 could come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. It also could have a 6,000mAh battery with 65W wired charging, up to 18GB of RAM, up to 512GB of internal storage, and a built-in headphone jack.

Stay tuned as Asus will officially launch the ROG Phone 6 on July 5, 2022.
