There are still many great phones that include a microSD card slot, allowing you to expand your phone’s storage. Here are the best ones you should know about.

Sony’s Xperia 1 III and 5 III come with specs worthy of a high-end title. Aside from being among the best camera phones for video shooters, these are capable phones. Of course, all that video footage will require ample space, which is why these are phones with expandable memory.

Extra features include a fingerprint reader, an IP68 rating, and even a headphone jack (another rare sight these days!). You get plenty of processing power and RAM too, and size will depend on the model you pick. You can look right below the buy button for more details.

Just keep in mind that Xperia 1 IV has already been announced but is not available in the US yet. Sales kick off on September 1. And while we haven’t reviewed the device yet, it’s safe to say it’s a bit better than its predecessor.

The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G and A52s 5G were great mid-rangers, but every phone needs to be cycled out. The successor has arrived, carrying the predictable Galaxy A53 moniker. This is one of the best phones with a microSD card slot, but it offers much more.

You’d be surprised how much a mid-tier, budget device can get you these days. The Samsung Galaxy A53 may have an Exynos 1280, but it also has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 8GB of RAM, a quad-camera setup, and a massive 5,000mAh battery.

For starters, this phone comes with a large 6.8-inch 1080p display, but that’s not what makes it special. It’s a 90Hz refresh rate panel, which is rare at this super low price point. It also comes with 6GB of RAM, and if you need a phone that can last all day (and then some), you’ll love the 5,000mAh battery. Of course, it also comes with expandable memory.

Poco X4 Pro

The Poco X3 Pro is all about blistering performance, but it came with a few other sacrifices. The Poco X4 Pro turns things around by offering slightly less performance, but improving the overall experience significantly.

The X4 Pro comes with a Snapdragon 695 and as much as 8GB of RAM. That is still amazing for a phone that costs under $300. Poco makes up for the “lesser” specs with a gorgeous OLED screen, two-day battery life, a pretty good primary camera, IP53 splash resistance, and outstanding dual speakers.
