Once in a call, you can record it by clicking on the Record at the bottom left corner of the desktop app. Click the Record button again or click on Stop recording at the top to end it. You will see a copy of the recorded video in the chat.

On the mobile app, tap on the three horizontal dots icon at the bottom right of the screen. Select Start recording to record the call. Tap on Stop recording at the top of the page to end the recording. A copy of the recorded video will automatically be sent to the Skype chat.

Once you end a call recording, you will find a copy of the video recording in the chat, which will be available in the apps for 30 days.

To save the recording on the desktop app, click on the three vertical dots icon to the right. Select Save to save the file to your default Skype folder or Save as to pick a particular folder. You can share the video by attaching it to an email or uploading it to cloud storage.
On mobile, long press the video file in the Skype chat and tap on Save. You will find the saved video file in Google Photos or your phone’s media manager app. It might be in a dedicated Skype folder. Tap on the video in Photos to share it.

Skype also asks the person recording the call to notify other participants once the recording starts. Every user will also get a copy of the recording in the Skype chat.
