The Mercury Milan has been largely forgotten today, but you can snag this rare Milan Voga next month.
Set to be auctioned by Mecum, the model was introduced at Miami Fashion Week in 2006 in an effort to attract Latino customers.
Originally billed as a “one of a kind” customized car that “capture[s] the spirit of the Hispanic culture,” the Milan Voga was created in partnership with Ford GT designer Camilo Pardo. Given that background, it’s little surprise the sedan has been equipped with a 3D Carbon ground effects package as well as two rear spoilers.

The changes don’t stop there as the model has an eye-catching Mar Azul exterior, which contrasts with a stainless steel roof as well as additional brightwork. The car also has a “lowered stance,” polished exhaust tips, and 20-inch polished aluminum wheels from HRE.
The upgrades continue in the cabin as Mercury originally billed the cockpit as a “study in contrasts.” It features Arena leather seats with Mar Azul contrast stitching as well as Voga insignias. They’re joined by polished chrome trim and special floor mats.
After making its debut at Miami Fashion Week, the car was auctioned on eBay to benefit a charity “empowering Hispanic women.” The winning bidder had it personally delivered by Roselyn Sanchez, who was starring in Without a Trace at the time.
It’s now back up for auction, but you shouldn’t expect to see Sanchez this time around. That being said, the model features a 3.0-liter V6 that presumably develops 221 hp (165 kW / 224 PS) and 205 lb-ft (278 lb-ft) of torque. It should be connected to a six-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the front wheels, despite the listing claiming it uses a three-speed gearbox.
There’s no auction estimate, but the Milan Voga is certainly unique and appears to be in excellent condition.
