The 2023 Nissan Z is bound to prove popular throughout the aftermarket and already, a company out of Japan has developed a coilover suspension kit for the sports car.
These coilovers come courtesy of Final Konnexion and while they are still in the prototype stage, images shared to the Nissan Z Club forum show that kit drops the car’s ride height by 30 mm (1.1-inch) at the front and 40 mm (1.6 inch) at the rear, making it look even more aggressive and sporty than standard.
Of course, coilovers are good for much more than dropping a car’s ride height. A good set of coilovers can transform the handling of a car and many allow drivers to adjust the rebound and compression damping, in addition to the ride height. Certain coilover suspension setups also feature adjustable top mounts that allow camber and/or caster to be tweaked.

While we have yet to put the new Nissan Z through its paces, other independent reviewers have had very good things to say about it, even though it borrows its engine from Infiniti and uses largely the same underpinnings as its predecessor, the 370Z.
In the United States, the new Z is available from as little as $39,990 for the Z Sport, excluding a $1,025 destination and handling charge. Sitting above the Z Sport in the range is the Z Performance, available from $49,990 and arriving standard with a host of additional features, including a mechanical limited-slip differential, larger front and rear brakes, 19-inch Rays forged wheels with Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires, launch control, and a rev-matching system for the available six-speed manual transmission. Topping out the range is the Z Proto Spec available from $52,990 of which just 240 examples will be produced.
