Nissan announced pricing and availability for the 2023 Ariya in the US market, which starts from $43,190 thanks to a new FWD entry-level trim, going all the way up to $60,190 for the flagship AWD e-4ORCE with the larger battery.
The Nissan Ariya was originally introduced in Japan on July 2020. On November 2021, Nissan started taking orders for the 2023 MY in the US, but the large number of reservations forced the automaker to halt the process earlier this year. Now, the EV is back with a significantly wider range of available trims.

While the four previously announced trims got more expensive by $1,240, the addition of a new entry-level model lowers the base price of the Ariya. Nissan said that customers who participated in the earlier reservation program will still be able to purchase their Ariya at lower prices (mentioned in the brackets).

The Nissan Ariya is available with either a single motor (FWD) or with dual electric motors (e-4ORCE), and with two different battery capacities – 63 kWh or 87 kWh. The cheapest “Engage” trim is the least powerful of the range producing 214 hp (160 kW / 217 PS) and 221 lb-ft (300 Nm) of torque, while the rest of the FWD variants are slightly more powerful, at 238 hp (177 kW / 241 PS). The AWD models also have a variation in terms of their power and torque figures, with the entry-level “Engage” producing 335 hp (250 kW / 340 PS) and 413 lb-ft (560 Nm) of torque, and the rest of the lineup producing 389 hp (290 kW / 394 PS) and 442 lb-ft (599 Nm) of torque.
As for the available range, the estimated EPA figures for the FWD lineup range between 216-304 miles (348-489 km). The range of the AWD models will be announced at a later date. Due to the increased weight and power output, we expect those figures to be slightly lower than in the equivalent FWD trims.
In terms of equipment, the entry-level “Engage” gets standard leatherette upholstery, heated seats (front and rear), an 8-way power driver’s seat with 4-way power lumbar and memory function, heated steering wheel, head-up-display, digital cockpit with dual 12.3-inch screens, power sliding center console, Divide-N-Hide cargo system, and the ProPILOT Assist 2.0 with Navi-Link. More features are added across the range including Nappa leather upholstery, a 10-speaker Bose audio system, a wireless charging pad, a panoramic moon roof, and the ProPILOT Park system.
Deliveries of the FWD models will commence in late fall 2022, while AWD variants with the e-4ORCE system will follow in early 2023.
