Meta Connect VR Conference: How to watch – CNET

Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg is betting you’ll be hearing the word “metaverse” a lot in the next few years, and his company’s big virtual reality and augmented reality event Tuesday will be a big part of why.

This year, Zuckerberg is planning to show off his company’s latest VR headset, a device designed for professional use rather than the somewhat popular $400 Meta Quest device everyday consumers. Meta is also likely to announce a series of new apps and partnerships, as it has in previous years when showing off new games and experiences meant to entice people to try its devices.

Zuckerberg may have other surprises up his sleeve. Last year, the company formerly known as Facebook surprised the tech world with it’s sudden rebranding.
