The GMC Syclone of the 1990s was a true world-beater, with speed in the realm of Corvettes and Ferraris of its time. Thirty years later, we have high-performance off-road trucks like the Ford F-150 Raptor and Ram 1500 TRX, but none that are really oriented for the street like the Syclone was.
Enter this modified GMC Sierra Hot Wheels Edition listed for sale on eBay, which is probably about as close to a modern-day Syclone as you can get. The truck was originally built for SEMA, and it certainly has the presence of a vehicle that would attend that show.

Like the Syclone, this truck’s trim has been blacked out, even down to the smoked headlights and taillights, but to the potential dismay of some Syclone purists, it has four doors instead of two. Elsewhere, the Sierra sports lowered suspension and a new set of wheels to really give it that aggressive street-focused look. Additional touches include a power tonneau cover and power running boards, though the latter seems a bit unnecessary seeing how this truck sits lower than some cars.

As mentioned before, this Sierra has the bark to back up its bite. Whereas the stock 6.2-liter V8 under the hood of this truck would normally make 420 hp (426 PS / 313 kW), in its current state of modification it makes over 650 hp (659 PS / 485 kW). The listing doesn’t say exactly what those modifications are other than a custom exhaust, but from the pictures, we can see it’s at the very least been equipped with a Whipple supercharger.
