PHEV Drivers Aren’t Using Their Electric Powertrain As Much As Regulators. Assume

According to data gathered by the International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT), users of plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEVs) aren’t using the electric part of the powertrains as frequently as regulators assume. The study found that, in the real world, the share of driving handled entirely by electric motors is 26 to 56 percent lower than the EPA assumes when it is labeling the fuel efficiency of the vehicles. Cops caught the teenager on the same day they first received reports of the crime. The tickets, which look like they were placed in a handmade envelope, look to be about the size of a receipt and feature the headline “Santa Cruz Parking Pay” printed in what appears to be the Comic Sans font, which is bracketed by two palm trees.
