The Lamborghini gathering in Japan attracted no less than 251 vehicles

Lamborghini recently held a special owner event at the Suzuka Circuit in Japan to celebrate the brand’s 60th anniversary and in the process, broke a Guinness World Record for the ‘largest parade of Lamborghini’ vehicles.
The event attracted no less than 251 Lamborghinis dating back to the very first production car from the Italian carmaker, the 350 GT, through to the Countach LPI 800-4. Models brought along by Lamborghini itself, including a 350 GT, Islero, and Countach, have all been restored by its Polo Storico Department.
“This year marks the 60th anniversary since Lamborghini was founded in 1963,” Lamborghini chairman and chief executive Stephan Winkelmann said in a press release. “The fact that so many Lamborghinis, from current models to classic cars, gathered at the internationally renowned Suzuka Circuit is proof that our brand has touched the emotions of many people here in Japan over its long history and is still so valued today. It is also an immense pleasure to witness this special moment of receiving a Guinness World Record during an important year such as this.”
A dizzying array of customer-owned vehicles also took to the track. These included most current Lamborghini models, including multiple Huracan STOs and Aventador SVJs. Lamborghini also brought along the special, off-road-focused Huracan Sterrato, displaying a model finished in white with red and black accents.
This year isn’t just an important one for the brand because it is now in its 60th year but because later this year, the long-awaited hybrid successor to the Aventador will be unveiled. The new model’s overhauled design has already been leaked and current reports indicate that it will feature a naturally-aspirated V12 (displacement unknown) coupled to at least one electric.
