Indian coachbuilder DC2 Dilip Chhabria created this unique two-door SUV, but plans for further production remain uncertain

No, this weird vehicle is not visiting Earth from another planet and has instead been built by a little-known company out of India by the name of DC2 Dilip Chhabria.
Surprisingly, this weird two-door SUV was originally a Volvo XC90, but the coachbuilder has replaced every single body panel. Depending on what you think of the XC90, that’s either a good thing or a bad thing, but regardless of personal preference, it’s impossible to argue with it being very over-the-top.
Visible at the front end of the special SUV is a wide grille with bright red hexagons as well as headlights and LED daytime running lights that have been neatly incorporated into these hexagons. DC2 has then fitted a relatively simple yet attractive bumper and a clamshell-style hood.
The coachbuilder then made the decision to convert the Volvo from a four-door into a two-door and in the process, install a pair of gullwing doors. Let’s be honest, no one needs an SUV with gullwing doors but they definitely look cool. A set of aftermarket wheels finished in red and black and wrapped in off-road tires are also featured.
For as sleek as the front end of the SUV is, the rear is utterly bizarre. It features a pair of thin LED taillights and a light bar as well as a large grille area very similar to the front grille. A pair of massive tailpipes are also featured. However, it is the overall bulky shape of the rear that is really odd.

The interior features a mish-mash of standard Volvo parts and components crafted by DC2. For example, the steering wheel, infotainment screen, and dashboard are all Volvo but the coachbuilder has adorned the seats in bright red leather. The second row also looks much more compact than a standard XC90 and given the lack of side windows for rear passengers, also appears very dark.
It is unclear how much DC2 spent converting this XC90 nor is it known if it plans on building more than one example.
