A series of updates have been introduced by Land Rover for the 2024 Range Rover model, including the launch of new hybrid powertrains. Additionally, those in the market for a Range Rover Autobiography or SV model looking to make them even more special can now do so through Land Rover’s recently-launched SV Bespoke commissioning service.

But first, the 2024 Range Rover itself. JLR has equipped the 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 with a mild-hybrid system that harvests energy captured when decelerating and braking before redeploying it under acceleration. This new engine is good for a monumental 606 hp and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque. This powertrain is offered exclusively for the new Range Rover SV.

Those not willing to splurge on the SV don’t miss out on upgrades. Indeed, whereas the Range Rover was previously offered in P440e and P510e guises, these have been replaced with the new P460e and P550e. These variants deliver 453 hp and 542 hp respectively and are helped along by a beefed-up electric motor with 218 hp. P460e and P550e models can travel up to 75 miles on all-electric power while the P550e needs just 4.8 seconds to hit 60 mph (96 km/h). Both also use a 3.0 straight-six petrol engine and a sizeable 38.2 kWh battery.

Some other changes have been made. For example, the 2024 Range Rover comes with the latest generation Pivi Pro infotainment system with a 13.1-inch floating glass touchscreen that even includes an Amazon Alexa voice AI assistant.

Land Rover has also introduced a new Country Road Assist system that works as an Adaptive Cruise Control system but for smaller, country roads. A new Dynamic Response Pro system is also fitted and uses electric roll technology to reduce body lean when cornering.

Indeed, exterior Range Rover badges can even be made from 24-karat gold.

The service is so comprehensive that some 391 material colorways are available in the cabin while more than 230 satin and gloss colors are included as part of the programme. A Match to Sample paint service has also been established to replicate any exterior color request.
