Legoland in Denmark now has a brand new attraction in the form of a full-size model of one of Ferrari’s most impressive, limited-run models; the Monza SP1.

The Lego model forms part of the Ferrari Build and Race interactive exhibit where visitors are able to build their own small-scale Ferrari model from Lego before having it digitally scanned and put to the test on a digital version of the Fiorano racetrack.

The Italian car manufacturer has not mentioned who built the full-size scale model nor how many pieces of Lego were needed. Nonetheless, it does a very good job of mimicking the shape and design of the road-going model and is even equipped with genuine Ferrari wheels.

Full-Size Ferrari Monza SP1 Made Completely Out Of Lego Bricks

Ferrari unveiled the single-seater Monza SP1 alongside the two-seat Monza SP2 back in September 2018. The Monza SP1 and SP2 are outfitted with a 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 that at the time of their launch, made them the most powerful V12-powered road cars Ferrari had ever produced. This engine is good for 799 hp and 530 lb-ft (719 Nm) of torque and sends the SP1 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.9 seconds, 124 mph (200 km/h) in 7.9 seconds, and through to a top speed of over 186 mph (300 km/h), all without a roof.

While the car shares its underpinnings with the Ferrari 812 Superfast, you’d be hard-pressed to tell based on its design. In fact, the Monza SP1 has bespoke bodywork with new front and rear fascias, a unique grille, distinctive headlights, and an especially attractive LED light bar at the rear. ‘

Unsurprisingly, production of the Monza SP1 and SP2 models is extremely limited with just 499 examples combined being delivered to customers.
