Luxury automakers are focusing more and more on design customization, and premium manufacturers like Audi are responding. For 2024, European A6 and A7 buyers will be allowed more aesthetic combinations than ever before.

On the back of a very gentle mid-cycle facelift, Audi is reorganizing the trim structure for its midsize sedan, wagon, and sportback. The A6s will be offered basic, advanced, and S line packages, while A7 owners will be able to chose between basic and S Line.

These trim packages are defined by their unique front and rear design elements. For starters, the basic trim’s grille is finished in matte black with a chrome frame. On the advanced line, the grille is finished in Dark Chrome, while the rear diffusor blades are painted Selenite silver. It also comes with sporty 18-inch wheels.

2024 Audi A6 And A7 Get New Equipment Lines In Europe

Meanwhile, the S-line’s singleframe grille has chrome inserts and the diffusor blade is painted Platinum Gray on the A6 and the redesigned side air intakes come with matte black and platinum gray inserts (on the A7 they’re finished in chrome). It also gets widened side sills, 19-inch wheels, and sportier suspension.

For the higher-performance S6 and S7, the grille will be finished with aluminum-style inlays and matte black side intakes for the former and dark chrome intakes for the latter. The front spoiler is painted Selenite silver on both models.

Interior Packages

For 2024, both models’ interiors can be optioned independently of the exterior package a customer chooses. For example, in the S line interior, the dash, roofline, and interior are all finished in black, and the multifunction steering wheel gets contrasting stitching and perforated leather. Adding another sporty touch to the interior are the stainless steel pedals and foot rest. The S line package also comes with “Sequenz” fabric and leather upholstery for the A6, and the A7 gets a combination of “Frequenz” microfiber and leather.

Buyers will be able to pick from a total of 12 exterior colors for the 2024 model year, including Arcona White and Madeira Brown, for the first time. Meanwhile, those looking for an S model will also be able to choose Grenadine Red Metallic and Ascari Blue Metallic.

Inside, there are new decorative inlays, and owners will have a total of eight choices. These include Olive Tree Natural and Ash Volcanic Gray Natural inlays, as well as some covered in Dinamica microfiber, for a sporty touch.

All models will come with the Audi virtual cockpit as standard, in the form of a 12.3-inch screen behind the steering wheel. Full LED headlights are also now standard, as is the park assist function.

Finally, Audi says that since buyers are obsessed with dark wheels, it will offer more dark rim options. That includes optional 18-inch multispoke wheels finished in Graphite Gray, 20-inch 10-spoke star design wheel s in Black Metallic, and more. The A6 is offered with a completely new 5-arm 21-inch, motorsport-inspired wheel that is designed to cool the brakes.

The new models will be on sale starting on June 1, with prices starting at €53,800 ($57,703 USD at current exchange rates) for the A6, and at €63,500 ($68,106 USD) for the A7, in Germany.
