Dubbed the FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance, Faraday Future says it’ll only make 300 but we’re not sure it’ll sell half that many

Say what you might about Tesla and its ability to make the “impossible only late” but we get the feeling that Faraday Future would love to keep such a schedule. Many years after its initial introduction of the FF 91, it’s finally delivering the first production units. It’s also celebrating the occasion with a new $309,000 version called the Futurist Alliance.
Deliveries of the FF 91 begin today, May 31st, 2023 after the very first FF91 concept debuted back in 2017. Over that time, Faraday Future has been on a proverbial roller coaster of uncertainty, and to some, the ride is just beginning. The details are somewhat light but here’s what we know about the company today.
Faraday Future didn’t disclose any details about the price of its base vehicle or what versions were up for delivery today. On the other hand, it did say that its new FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance will cost a hefty $309,000 and for that, buyers get “1-on-1 bespoke private AI and special tuning.”

What exactly that means Faraday Future doesn’t say. It did mention that its FF mobility ecosystem, dubbed FF aiHypercar+ will cost $14,900 per year. That price goes up after the first 2,000 users buy-in. For that, the software provides internet, personalized AI algorithm services, and more.
The Futurist Alliance also comes with exclusive colors and wheels. Faraday Future says it’ll also come with an EPA-rated 381-mile range, over 100 inches of display space, 1,050 hp ( kW), and a 0-60 mph (96 km/h) time of just 2.27 seconds. Don’t worry though, if $309,000 is a bit too pricey there’s a lower trim.

It’s called the Futurist and it’ll set one back $249,000. It also boasts the same performance and range specifications as the Futurist Alliance but you won’t get the same exclusive colors, wheels, and AI special tuning. Again, Faraday Future doesn’t say how much the base FF 91 2.0 runs just yet. If you’re interested, you can pre-order on the company’s website here.
