The first customer example of the Rimac Nevera was delivered in the US. The Croatian electric hypercar was delivered to the owner by New York-based dealer Manhattan Motorcars and representatives of the Rimac Automobili team.

This particular example is finished in a Gunpowder Gray exterior with a pearlescent finish which looks great in combination with the exposed carbon fiber components. The wheels are finished in a similar Gunmetal Infinitus shade, with the brake calipers painted in a restrained gloss black shade. We can also see the yellow indicators which are specific to US-spec Neveras. The press release doesn’t include photos of the interior which is upholstered in Alcantara featuring subtle green accents.

First Customer Rimac Nevera Delivered In The US

Rimac said that “a number of other US-bound cars” are currently in production or awaiting their production slot, without revealing the allocation numbers for the Nevera. Hendrik Malinowski, commercial director at Bugatti Rimac, said that the first US owner “had the foresight to recognize the Nevera’s immense potential during its early development” which is why he now has the privilege of being “the inaugural Nevera driver in the USA”. This statement obviously excludes Rimac test drivers and journalists that have already driven the hypercar on US soil. Speaking of which, a prototype of the Nevera was even involved in an accident in California during its US debut at the 2022 Monterey Car Week.

The electric hypercar with the $2.5 million price tag was introduced in production form in 2021, three years after the C_Two concept. The Rimac Nevera is currently the record holder for numerous speed and acceleration records. It currently holds the quickest 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint for a production vehicle with a mind-boggling 1.81 seconds, and it’s the fastest production EV with a confirmed top speed of 256 mph (412 km/h). Those numbers were made possible thanks to the quad-motor electric powertrain that produces a combined 1,887 hp (1,408 kW / 1,914 PS) and 1,740 lb-ft (2,360 Nm) of torque, sourcing energy from a 120 kWh battery pack.
