Ferrari is a luxury performance brand with a lot of mystique, and in practice this means it can occasionally be vexing in its approach. To wit, despite revealing the Purosangue more than nine months ago, Ferrari has yet to grace us with any new images of the high-performance crossover, beyond the initial batch of rather uninspiring press photos.

Fortunately, American dealers are starting to get their hands on the first-ever, series-production four-door Ferrari to leave Maranello, and the sales team, at Cauley Ferrari in Detroit, Michigan, has managed to get one in front of a professional photographer.

These photos, kindly supplied to us by the official Ferrari dealer and pro photographer Zac Broder, show the new Purosangue in exquisite detail. Although these are by no means the first photos of the SUV we’ve seen, they are some of the best, and shed light on the smaller details that you might have missed before now.

Appropriately enough, these images were captured during an “exclusive experience” as part of an official touring static display across North America, providing clients with the unique opportunity to closely examine the V12-powered SUV. Consequently, the majority of the photos were captured indoors, beautifully presenting a perfectly immaculate Purosangue.

Not only do these images provide us with a better understanding of the overall shape of the Purosangue, but they also reveal the SUV with all four doors wide open. This perspective allows us to observe the extent to which the rear suicide doors swing outward, providing access to rear-seat passengers.

These images also grant us a glimpse of the rear seats, which showcase their sleek design with simple position adjusters. The interior’s understated elegance is prominently displayed as well, highlighting the fine grain of the leather and the intricate weave of the carbon fiber materials, both presented in perfect detail.

Some of the more motorsports-inspired aspects of the design can also be seen here. For example, the flying buttresses near the windshield funnel air around the SUV are on display here, and align it with the aerodynamic elements look like they belong on one of Ferrari’s two-door models.

All of these details collectively depict an exotic SUV that has received meticulous attention in its development. Whether one deems it worthy of such attention is subjective; however, equipped with a powerful 715 hp (533 kW/725 PS) V12 engine that sends power to all four wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, there is no doubt that it will deliver impressive speed and performance.

For those intrigued by the Purosangue, it’s worth noting that Ferrari recently reopened the order book after temporarily halting orders just two months following its initial unveiling in September 2022 due to “unprecedented demand”. That said, if you have a keen interest in acquiring one, it would be advisable to secure a spot as soon as possible.

The starting price for the Purosangue in the USA is $398,350, which includes a $5,000 destination charge, but excludes the gas-guzzler tax, as well as any potential additional options you may wish to add, of which Ferrari offers plenty to choose from.
