Hyundai Motor America recently announced plans to introduce three new or facelifted models this summer, but that isn’t the extent of the updates. Quite the opposite as the automaker has announced a handful of other changes for 2024.

Starting with the Palisade, the three-row crossover gains a new Calligraphy Night Edition. The automaker said virtually nothing about it, but the name suggests it will feature an assortment of dark accents.

Besides the Calligraphy Night Edition, the 2024 Palisade has additional equipment including a newly standard dual-zone automatic climate control system with an automatic defog function. XRT and above trims now sport rear side sunshades, while the Limited comes equipped with ambient lighting.

The changes to the 2024 Santa Cruz are more extensive as the SEL Premium has been replaced by a new XRT variant. It features a dark chrome grille, matte black badging, and dark accents. Other highlights include side steps, bed rails, and black mirror caps. The model also sports wider fender flares, additional cladding, and 18-inch wheels with exclusive orange center caps.

Inside, there’s a leather-wrapped steering wheel and black H-Tex upholstery. Other niceties include digital key technology, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and standard all-wheel drive.

Besides the new XRT variant, the 2024 Santa Cruz gains newly standard LED headlights and a steering wheel with haptic feedback. SEL and above trims now come equipped with a dual-zone automatic climate control system with an automatic defog function, while SEL variants with the Activity Package now sport a 10.25-inch infotainment system with GPS navigation.

The 2024 Tucson sees a host of changes including a new powertrain for the N Line variant. Its old 2.5-liter four-cylinder, which produced 187 hp (139 kW / 190 PS) and 178 lb-ft (241 Nm) of torque, has been replaced by a hybridized 1.6-liter turbo. Hyundai didn’t go into specifics, but it presumably develops 180 hp (134 kW / 183 PS) and 195 lb-ft (264 Nm) of torque.

Engines aside, the 2024 Tucson gets an updated color palette and additional safety equipment. The latter include new rear side airbags, rear outboard seatbelt pretensioners and load limiters, and a steering wheel with haptic feedback.

Additional changes are limited, but the 10 color ambient lighting system has been replaced by a new 64 color system, while hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants now come standard with GPS navigation. SEL and above trims also gain a dual-zone automatic climate control system with an automatic defog function.

The 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 benefits from a few small tweaks including new rear side airbags, rear outboard seatbelt pretensioners and load limiters, and a steering wheel with haptic feedback. Buyers will also find a new digital rearview mirror on the Limited trim as well as a newly standard WiFi hotspot, which requires a subscription to use.

Last but not least, the Nexo gains full rear privacy glass, an upgraded climate control system, and USB-C charging ports. The Venue SE gains a six-speaker audio system, while the SEL trim now has rear USB charging ports and a proximity key with a push-button ignition.
