Hyundai Motor America is gearing up to introduce three new or facelifted models this summer.
The big news is the unveiling of the redesigned Santa Fe, which will celebrate its world premiere shortly. Hyundai didn’t give a specific date, but the crossover will adopt a boxy new design with an upright fascia. The latter will house rectangular headlights that feature H-shaped daytime running lights, which double as turn signals.
The crossover is also slated to have a “seamless horizon lamp” like the Sonata and Grandeur. They’ll be joined by a relatively flat hood and blacked out A-pillars that meet a ‘floating’ roof. Inside, we can expect a classier cabin with a digital instrument cluster and a modern infotainment system.

Besides the Santa Fe, Hyundai will unveil the facelifted US-spec Sonata in the coming weeks. Details are limited, but the automaker confirmed there will be hybrid and N Line variants.
While that isn’t much to go on, the car will echo the Korean model that was introduced in March. As a result, we can expect a new front fascia with muscular intakes, slender headlights, and a seamless horizon lamp.

The updates continue in the cabin with a freestanding display that consists of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment system. Other highlights include a new dashboard, a revamped center stack, and revised switchgear.
Hyundai Sonata
If the Sonata’s out of your price range, you’re in luck as Hyundai will also unveil the facelifted Elantra, Elantra Hybrid, and Elantra N this summer. The model was introduced earlier this year in South Korea, where it’s known as the Avante.
We can expect a light freshening that includes a slimmer grille, a sportier front bumper, and new headlights. The changes will be less noticeable out back, but should include a new bumper.
Interior updates won’t be as extensive as those found on the Sonata, but we can expect digital key technology and available 10.25-inch displays.
