Houston-area-based Hennessey Performance Hennessey just delivered its 16th Venom F5. The latest example features its own special touches and is another of the brand’s Heritage edition units. It directly calls back to the Dodge Viper and has its own twin in the new owner’s garage.

After its debut at SEMA in 2017, the Venom F5 didn’t make it into production until 2021. Now, years later, production is slowly but steadily continuing. This 16th example is now in the hands of Rafael ‘Rafa’ Martinez, the man behind Rafa Racing, an avid supercar enthusiast and collector. His garage includes a Ford GT, a McLaren Senna, and a Ferrari SF90.

It also includes another Venom F5 Heritage Edition too. That one calls back to the 1996 Dodge Viper GTS while this latest one is meant to emulate the 1998 Viper GTS-R Championship Edition. As such, the 16th car in the production line features Manga White paint with Sapphire Blue stripes and brushed high-gloss silver wheels.

Hennessey’s 16th Production Venom F5 Calls Back To The Automaker’s Viper Past

As many will remember, Hennessey is closely tied to the Dodge Viper. Not only is John Hennessey himself a founding member of the Viper Club of America, but Hennessey Performance was the first tuning company to modify a V10 Viper. That car, the Venom 650R had a wild motor and could reach speeds of 215 mph.

“I’m incredibly proud of our entire team’s skill, commitment, and passion. Manufacturing a bespoke hypercar is a monumental challenge that requires meticulous planning, world-class expertise, and determination to be the best. And despite the challenges, it all comes together in the finished product, and I couldn’t be more pleased with each of the 16 Venom F5 variants we have delivered already. It goes without saying that Rafa’s two Heritage Editions, inspired by Dodge Viper models that were instrumental to the company’s success, hold a special place in my heart.”

Hennessey delivered its 10th Venom F5 back in January so production seems to be humming along quite nicely. In total, it plans to build just 24 coupes and the same amount of roadsters.
