Mitsubishi has made a host of changes to its U.S. line-up for the 2024 model year, including the introduction of two years of free limited maintenance for every 2024 model it sells.

The Japanese car manufacturer currently offers a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty and a five-year/60,000-mile limited warranty with all of its new cars and is aiming to improve the support and service it offers its customers. As such, all 2024 models sold in the U.S. will come with a complimentary two-year/30,000-mile maintenance program that covers three oil and oil filter changes, one cabin air filter replacement, and three free tire rotations.

All three of the free services will also include a multi-point inspection. Importantly, the deal is only valid for 2024 vehicles purchased from an authorized Mitsubishi Motors dealer and is only valid for the original owner, meaning it is not transferrable to subsequent owners.

Mitsubishi has also made a handful of changes to select models for the 2024 model year. These start with the Outlander Plug-In Hybrid that is now offered with a new Platinum Edition bringing with it a Black Diamond paint finish and Alloy Silver roof. The SEL Black Edition from 2023 will also continue to be offered but now adds new black semi-aniline premium leather-appointed seats, a black dynamic shield, black chrome window trim, and black roof rails. The regular 2024 Outlander will also be offered with the same Platinum Edition and SEL Black Edition versions.

Then there is the 2024 Eclipse Cross that now benefits from a hands-free electronic tailgate with a kick-motion sensor on SE and SEL models. The SE also comes standard with adaptive cruise control, a rear USB port, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The LE variant now comes standard with a two-year Mitsubishi Connect trial and FAST-Key entry system while an unspecified Special Edition will be introduced later this year.

For 2024, the Outlander Sport welcomes a new Trail Edition with black hood graphics, new front and rear details, side fender moldings finished in black, a black hood protector and tailgate trim, mud flaps, black inner door handle protectors, and all-weather floor mats.

Last but not least are the 2024 Mirage and Mirage G4 models with LE trims updated with a driver seat armrest, automatic headlights, and rain-sensing wipers as standard. Two new colors, Graphite Gray and Jet Black, have also been added to the range.
