We’ve always found the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe to be quite an odd yet desirable performance car. Sure, some may think that it is hideous and while we don’t completely disagree with that sentiment, it does still have a weird allure to it.

No doubt the highlight of the CTS-V Coupe is its engine. It takes the form of GM’s 6.2-liter supercharged LSA V8 packing 556 hp and 551 lb-ft (747 Nm) of torque. While the current CT5-V Blackwing easily outmuscles it, let’s not forget that in 2012, Lamborghini was still producing the Gallardo and it topped out at 562 hp and 398 lb-ft (540 Nm) so yeah, the CTS-V Coupe has quite an impressive powertrain.

The CTS-V Coupe you’re looking at is up for auction through Bring a Trailer and has only ever been driven 11,000 miles (~17,700 km) since new. It pairs a six-speed automatic transmission to the supercharged V8 and is being sold with the owner’s manual, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.

The Cadillac CTS-V Coupe Looks A Little Weird But It’s A Serious Performer

Adorning the exterior of the car is a color known as Black Diamond Tricoat that’s contrasted with yellow Brembo brake calipers. The car also sits on 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 255/40 front and 285/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires.

The interior is a little outdated by modern standards but it does still have leather Recaro seats appointed in black leather and microsuede. There are also some pieces of wood trim on the transmission tunnel and the car includes dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless access, and a Bose audio system.

A look at the car’s window sticker reveals that it had an MSRP of $74,215 when it was new. At the time of writing, bidding was approaching the $30,000 mark but for a car with as much power as this, that’s quite the bargain.
