Most people seem to agree that the new Nissan Z is quite a good-looking sports car that neatly blends together design elements from the likes of the 240Z and 260Z and Nissan’s current design language. Now, a Japanese tuner by the name of Impul has unveiled its aerodynamic kit for the Z and it makes it look even more striking.

The tuner’s unique parts start up front where it has developed a bold splitter for the Nissan that includes aerodynamic flics on the outer flanks as well as elements that stretch into the gaping-wide front grille like claws. This splitter costs 132,000 yen ($960) and can be paired with a new grille surround and additional elements that run horizontally and vertically just above the splitter, costing 121,000 yen ($880).

The Z is also rocking a new pair of side skirts that cost 154,000 yen ($1,120) for a pair. Subtle fender ducts can also be fitted just behind the front wheels for 44,000 yen ($320) for the pair. Then we get to the rear where most of the action is happening.

Japanese Tuner Gives The Nissan Z Bold Aero Upgrades But Are They Too Much?

Catching the eye and no doubt turning heads on the street is a towering rear wing with pronounced end plates and two uprights sitting near the center of the decklid. It costs 198,000 yen ($1,440). Impul has also engineered a new diffuser for the car that further adds to the aggressive looks without going overboard. The diffuser costs 154,000 yen ($1,120) but that figure increases to 231,000 yen ($1,680) if it is paired with the tuner’s own exhaust system.

Nissan Z owners can also head to Impul if they want a new set of gloss black wheels from Enkei, measuring 20×9.5 at the front and 20×10 at the rear. Upgraded brakes with six-piston and four-piston calipers are also available. Rounding out the available parts are carbon fiber wing mirror caps priced at 53,000 yen ($385).
