Czinger has claimed the 21C V Max can go from 0-250-0 mph in 27 seconds, beating the Koenigsegg Regera

It’s been almost 12 months since the Czinger 21C V Max was first showcased to the world through a series of detailed renderings but at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the car was presented in full for the very first time.
As its name implies, the 21C V Max is a variant of the record-breaking 21C that has a focus on top speed as opposed to high downforce and staggering G-force figures. Making this first example all the more striking is the bright shade of orange, dubbed Golden State of Mind, that it has been painted in.
Czinger didn’t simply remove some of the more extreme aerodynamic parts of the standard 21C and call it a day. Instead, it has re-engineered almost all of the car’s bodywork. These changes start at the front end where the front fascia has a more subtle front splitter and lacks the aerodynamic canards of the standard version.

The sides of the limited-run model are also quite a bit different and there are new carbon fiber rocker panels and skirts. The large side air intakes have also been changed and new wheels are also featured. Czinger has also lengthened the car’s bodywork in a similar fashion to the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ and the McLaren Speedtail. The rear wing of the track-focused 21C has also been removed.
As of last year, the Californian car manufacturer claimed that the 21C’s 2.88-liter twin-turbocharged V8 hybrid powertrain that delivers 1,250 hp would send it to 60 mph (96 km/h) in less than 1.9 seconds, down the quarter-mile in 8.1 seconds, and complete a 0-250-0 mph (0-402-0 km/h) run in around 27 seconds. If achieved, that figure would eclipse the Koenigsegg Regera’s recent record of 28.81 seconds.
