Peugeot is preparing for the debut of the new E-3008 in September and has launched the “Camo Catch” marketing campaign. This social media challenge invites participants to locate the camouflaged prototypes of the electric SUV and share their own spy shots, with the promise of granting early test drives to the winners.

The French automaker published new teaser videos and photos of multiple Peugeot E-3008 prototypes wearing different kinds of camouflage wraps. Those were chosen by public voting on social media and certainly look better than the original zebra-style camo. They were also purposely made more revealing, teasing the exterior design of the electric SUV. It’s worth noting that Peugeot had already unveiled the E-3008’s interior in previous teasers, introducing the latest iteration of their i-Cockpit technology.

The 2024 Peugeot E-3008 adopts a coupe-SUV silhouette, setting it apart from other compact crossover competitors. The front end stands out with its slim LED headlights that boast triple fang-shaped elements, positioned on either side of the fully enclosed grille.

On the sides, the vehicle exhibits cleaner surfaces, subtle plastic cladding, and futuristic alloy wheels that were initially introduced on the 408 fastback. These design influences extend to the rear, featuring a sharply angled windshield, a roof spoiler, and even more striking LED taillights, resulting in an overall aggressive appearance.

Catch it and post it

If anyone spots the Peugeot E-3008 during its final development tests on European roads between July 15th and August 15th, they can participate in the competition by posting content on social media using the #CamoCatch hashtag and tagging @Peugeot. The six winners will be chosen through a draw and will have the opportunity to be among the first to test drive the E-3008 during the press trials in 2024. Out of curiosity, we checked the aforementioned tag on Facebook which already had a few entries at the time of writing.

The 2024 Peugeot E-3008 will be the first production model to ride on the Stellantis group’s STLA Medium architecture, set to replace the aging EMP2 platform that is used in the current lineup. The crossover will be available with three fully electric powertrain options, offering a zero-emission range of up to 700 km (435 miles).
