Just a few days after the unveiling of the Brabus 900 Rocket R, there is another heavily modified Porsche 911 Turbo S making headlines, this time from Mansory. The P9LM EVO 900 is an extensive tuning package for the famed nameplate including an extreme bodykit, a re-upholstered cabin, and a significantly more powerful engine, with a limited production of 10 units.

Starting with the exterior, the Mansory P9LM EVO 900 goes head-to-head with the TechArt GTstreet R for the wildest-looking 911 Turbo S money can buy. The add-ons are made of forged carbon and can be optionally combined with a head-turning two-tone paint finish featuring a flashy gradient.

At the front, the new bonnet has sculpted dynamic lines and is combined with a redesigned bumper. The latter gets larger intakes and a pronounced splitter that extends to a pair of aerodynamic fins on the sides. The overstyled fender extensions at the front include GT3-style vents and additional outlets, matching the enlarged side intakes behind the doors.

The tail of the 911 Turbo S is nearly unrecognizable, thanks to the extensive use of forged carbon. It is adorned with various elements such as fins, inlets, an integrated spoiler, a large double-story wing, and a redesigned diffuser featuring triple exhaust pipes. Mansory claims that these components are not merely for visual display but serve functional purposes as well.

For those who prefer a more subtle look or require maneuverability in tight spaces, Mansory provides an alternative version of the package without the fender extensions, maintaining the stock width of the model. The P9LM EVO 900 conversion is currently offered for the Coupe variant of the 911 Turbo and Turbo S, with plans to expand it to the Convertible model in the near future.

Inside, Mansory designers were given a free pass, covering the entire cabin with soft high-quality leather. The pictured example combines light green and white leather with plenty of exposed carbon fiber, a new steering wheel with integrated shift lights, custom floor mats, color-matched seatbelts, and other accessories. Of course, each of the 10 owners will be able to choose his preferred color combinations.

More Power To Justify The Crazy Looks

The biturbo 3.8-liter flat-six used in the Porsche 911 Turbo S is already quite powerful, making 641 hp (478 kW / 650 PS) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque in stock form. Mansory elevated it to 888 hp (662 kW / 900 PS) and 1,050 Nm (774 lb-ft) of torque, with the power figure matching Brabus and surpassing TechArt. The increase was made possible by tweaking the ECU software and adding a pair of larger VTG turbochargers, 98 mm downpipes, a water-cooled intercooler, and a sports air filter. Despite the power bump, the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) is still completed in 2.5 seconds and the top speed remains at 340 km/h (211 mph).

The tuned model rides on a new set of 10-spoke one-piece forged wheels, color-matching the bi-tone bodywork and measuring 21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the back. The rims are shod in high-performance tires (255/35 ZR21 at the front and 335/25 ZR22 at the rear). Chassis upgrades are limited to “newly developed MANSORY suspension components” while brakes are left stock with customizable calipers.

Mansory has not yet provided specific pricing details for the P9LM EVO 900 conversion, but considering the comprehensive visual and mechanical upgrades it offers, it can be expected to come at a significant cost. The timing of the launch is indeed intriguing, coinciding with Porsche’s preparation to reveal the facelifted 911 range. It is possible that tuners anticipate owners of the outgoing 911 Turbo and Turbo S models to consider aftermarket upgrades in order to maintain a fresh and updated appearance for their vehicles using aftermarket parts.
