ABT Sportline believes that a decade of RS7 magic is worth being celebrated, which is why they unveiled a special tuning project. The Audi RS7 Legacy Edition follows in the footsteps of the closely-related RS6-LE, with a tuned V8 producing 750 hp, lowered coilovers, and a comprehensive aerodynamics package.
As a refresher, the first-generation Audi A7 made its debut in 2010, but it wasn’t until 2013 that the RS7 performance flagship was introduced. Subsequently, the current second-generation RS7 was unveiled in 2020, offering a sleeker alternative its RS6 Avant counterpart. In line with ABT’s signature style, significant enhancements were made to the vehicle’s visual appeal, chassis, and overall performance, elevating the RS7 to supercar territory.

The bodykit boasts an array of components crafted from exposed carbon fiber, including a front splitter with integrated blades, grille and intake garnish, bonnet scoop, side gills, side skirts, mirror caps, diffuser, faux vents, and a rear wing. Adding to its exclusivity, the “1 of 200” emblem signifies its limited availability, complemented by the RS7-LE and ABT branding. An eye-catching feature comes in the form of 22-inch forged alloy wheels finished in glossy black, perfectly complementing the lowered stance to create a menacing appearance. ABT’s stainless steel exhaust system stands out with its quad tailpipes, a departure from the stock RS7’s signature dual oval units.
Apart from the exterior modifications, the tuner has made several distinctive enhancements to the interior. The flame-retardant Dinamica soul fabric upholstery is combined with the optional Valcona leather, while an ABT steering wheel, adorned with carbon fiber elements adds a sporty touch. Custom floor mats with RS7-LE logos, branded door sills, and illuminated entrance lighting complete the looks.
The twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine received a new pair of ABT turbochargers, a larger intercooler, and an ECU upgrade resulting in an output of 750 hp (559 kW / 760 PS) and 980 Nm (723 lb-ft) of peak torque. Those numbers represent an increase of 158 hp (118 kW / 160 PS) and 180 Nm (133 lb-ft) over the stock RS7. As a result, the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint is completed in 3.1 seconds, which is half a second faster than the standard RS7 and 0.3 seconds quicker than the RS7 Performance. The tuner has also tweaked the chassis, with height-adjustable coilover springs and stiffer anti-roll bars on both axles.
The ABT RS7-LE is limited to 200 units just like the RS6-LE. As for pricing, the basic tuning package costs €102,600 ($114,143) although the optional suspension adds another €7,171 ($7,978), and the interior treatment another €22,829 ($25,400). Of course, the price of the donor car is not included in these numbers, making a full-spec RS7-LE a nearly €250,000 ($278,000) affair.
