The facelifted Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and Stelvio Quadrifoglio models will arrive on Australian shores in December but neither of them is cheap.

As in other markets, the 2023 Giulia and Stelvio models heading Down Under benefit from a series of updates to make them feel a little more modern. In addition, Australia is receiving a small allocation of the exclusive Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio 100o Anniversario editions. Only 100 examples are being built worldwide and Australia will receive five Giulias and three Stelvios.

Like the original Giulia Quadrifoglio and Stelvio Quadrifoglio models, the facelifted model is powered by a twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 that delivers 375 kW (503 hp) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque. The Giulia can hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.9 seconds while the Stelvio reaches the same mark in 3.8 seconds. Both models also feature cylinder deactivation technology that can cut three cylinders to reduce fuel consumption.

A key update made to both models is the fitment of an all-new mechanical limited-slip differential that is said to increase stability, agility, and cornering speed. Both models also have a perfect 50/50 weight distribution and can be optioned with carbon ceramic brakes. The most obvious visual changes made to the two models are the revised full-LED headlights and taillights. The taillights of the updated Giulia also have a smoked glossy black finish while the Stelvio has taillights with a transparent finish.

Some minor updates have also been made to the interior. These include a new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with a ‘Race’ setting where details like the tachometer, speedometer, and a shift light are displayed prominently. New carbon fiber elements are also found on the dashboard, doors, and center console. Both models come standard with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a wireless charger.

Local pricing for the Giulia Quadrifoglio starts at AU$153,700 while the Stelvio Quadrifoglio is available from AU$162,700.
