This is the Automobili Pininfarina PURA Vision design concept which the car manufacturers says “introduces a pioneering new era of electric luxury” and will make its public debut during Monterey Car Week this month.

The PURA Vision design concept takes the shape of an exceptionally sleek Coupe SUV and has a design that follows in the footsteps of the Battista hypercar. The Italian car manufacturer describes it as having a “distinctive face” and that’s certainly a sentiment we can agree with due to the presence of hidden headlights and daytime running lights use the firm’s slim L.E.S.S. nanofiber lighting technology made up of fibers less than 1mm thick.

The upper portion of the concept has a Bianco Sestriere Gloss white finish while various elements of the lower body are finished in exposed carbon fiber. The vehicle’s intriguing shape is particularly evident when it is viewed from the side and top where the large glasshouse immediately catches the eye. A set of massive 23-inch wheels are also fitted and wrapped in tires with a white stripe. One particularly intriguing element if the ring of LED lighting in the center of the glass roof designed to seamlessly link the windshield with the rear window.

Speaking of the interior, the car has a low seating position with front seats that appear as though they are floating. Found in front of the steering wheel is a large digital instrument cluster while to the right of the wheel is a rotary dial used to select between Park, Reverse, Neutral, and Drive. The dashboard then gracefully curves across the cabin, neatly joining with door panels trimmed in white leather and carbon fiber. Found in the central spine is a vertically-oriented infotainment display. A key element of the cabin is the signature textile on the center console, upper seatbacks and headliner that is made from 30% Nativa wool and 70% recycled polyester.
