The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 has a very reasonable starting price of $106,935 in the United States but at an upcoming auction in Monterey, California later this month, this Z06 is expected to sell for between $275,000 and $325,000.

There’s little doubt that the C8-generation Corvette Z06 is one of the most hyped versions of the famed sports car’s 70 years in existence. It offers breathtaking levels of performance to rival class-leading European supercars all at a far more affordable price. The Corvette Z06 in question is one of the more highly-equipped examples we have come across and is bound to attract plenty of bidders.

Mecum Auctions notes that while this Z06 had a standard price of $119,150, it has almost $55,000 in options. These include visible carbon fiber wheels ($11,995), the carbon fiber aero package ($10,495), the Z06 Ultimate Performance Package ($8,995), carbon fiber interior trim ($4,995), and a visible carbon fiber roof panel ($2,495). It had a total MSRP of $175,530 and despite this sky-high price, the original buyer is well positioned to make a very big profit.

Adorning the exterior of the car is one of the best colors it is available with, Rapid Blue. Contrasting the blue paint are the C8.R dual racing stripes finished in Edge Orange and adding $995 to the price tag.

The car’s blue and orange exterior theme has been perfectly mimicked in the cabin with blue leather accents visible on the seats, headrests, transmission tunnel, and the lower part of the dashboard. A set of bright orange seat belts are then featured while the rest of the cabin is bathed in black leather with Rapid Blue contrast stitching. It has been driven just a touch over 1,000 miles (~1,600 km) since leaving the Chevy factory.
