Monterey Car Week will be jam-packed with debuts and Infiniti has announced plans to introduce the QX Monograph concept on August 17.
Set to preview the redesigned QX80, the QX Monograph promises to be a “dramatic concept vehicle” that “boldly signals” an evolution of Infiniti’s design language. The company went on to say we can expect bold proportions and “striking design elements” as well as an updated version of their double-arched grille. The latter will be flanked by a new interpretation of their “digital piano key” lighting units.
While the teaser isn’t very revealing, it shows the concept will have a prominent grille with angular lines and Infiniti’s new logo. It also appears to be similar to the grille seen on QX80 prototypes.

Speaking of the redesigned SUV, it will have an evolutionary design with split lighting units, streamlined bodywork, and flush-mounted door handles. The rear end has also been modernized, while the license plate recess moves from the liftgate to the rear bumper.
Dealers have claimed the model will benefit from a luxurious cabin that resembles the one found in the Mercedes-Maybach GLS. That sounds a little optimistic, but we can expect a 24-inch display that presumably consists of a 12-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12-inch infotainment system. Other highlights are rumored to include touchscreen climate controls and what sounds like a more spacious third-row.
The 2025 Infiniti QX80 will reportedly arrive next summer and cost more than $100,000. That’s a significant increase, but the model could be offered with a ProPilot Assist 2.0 system that allows for hands-free semi-autonomous driving on compatible roads.
Getting back to Pebble Beach / Monterey Car Week plans, Infiniti and Nissan will show quarter-scale design models from their archives. The company didn’t elaborate, but noted some of the models will be “Skyline design references.”
Infiniti will also highlight the QX60, Q50 Red Sport, and a Q50 Black Opal Edition. The latter features a “stunning, color-changing iridescent paint scheme matching the Midnight Purple seen on the 1995 Skyline GT-R.”
