The U.S. configurator for the 2024 BMW M2 has just gone live revealing that BMW has quietly increased its MSRP by $1,000 since it was first announced. As such, the new sports car will set back buyers a minimum of $63,200 before a $995 destination and handling fee.

As is typical of new BMW models, the 2024 M2 offers plenty of options. The configurator shows that Alpine White and Zandvoort Blue are the only available no-cost colors and that Black Sapphire Metallic, Toronto Red Metallic, and Brooklyn Grey Metallic each carry a $650 premium. Buyers will also be offered the M2 in Frozen Portimao Blue and Frozen Pure Grey but these colors are not included in the configurator.

BMW is offering just one wheel option for the 2024 M2 in the U.S. with a staggered 19-inch front and 20-inch rear. While there’s just one wheel design, shoppers can opt to have it in either an all-black finish or a mixed black and silver finish.

Moving to the cabin and you will find three available leather upholstery finishes. We’re particularly fond of the Cognac with contrast stitching but two more subtle black options are available. With the leather chosen, you can opt to have either no-cost gloss black accents (no thanks), spend $150 on BMW’s Aluminum Rhombicle Anthracite finish, or pay $800 for carbon fiber.

Three packages are also on offer. These start with the $300 Shadowline Package, a $650 Lighting Package, and a $9,900 Carbon Package. The available options include $500 Active Cruise Control, a $300 Remote Engine Start, a $200 heated steering wheel, a $200 wireless phone charging pad, and no-cost red brake calipers. Neither the six-speed manual nor the 8-speed automatic transmission have a premium over the other unlike in Europe where the six-speed is a €500 ($544) option.
