2023 Los Angeles Auto Show Shaping Up To Be The Biggest Since 2019

Auto shows suffered a massive setback when the pandemic hit. Attendance and interest were already waning and COVID-19 saw the cancellation of basically all of them worldwide for a time. Now, the Los Angeles Auto Show is demonstrating serious signs of life. It says it’s got more content and commitment from automakers than any year since 2019.

To date, at least 27 different automakers are locked in to attend the LA Auto Show happening from November 17 through November 26. Among them are all GM brands, Dodge, Aston Martin, Lucid, Polestar, Porsche, and Subaru.

“We were exhilarated to receive confirmation of attendance from most of the automakers very early this year,” said LA Auto Show President, Terri Toennies. “Their enthusiastic involvement reaffirms the pivotal role of the California market in the automotive world, as well as the manufacturers’ confidence in our ability to serve as a crucial touchpoint to connect with both existing and prospective customers.”

As a method of connecting those customers and brands, the show is set to feature a number of ride-and-drive attractions. There’s a new “Electric Avenue Test Track” along with indoor tracks and driving experiences for attendees to enjoy. According to Toennies, this isn’t the end of the news that we’ll hear before the show begins in mid-November.

“We will announce more details about automaker debuts, individual activations, and test drives soon, as well as some very special new exhibits,” added Toennies. “Time and again, LA Auto Show has consistently offered an unmatched opportunity to experience and compare a wide variety of brands in a single location, which is what active shoppers love most about our show.”
