The Ferrari 296 GTB has proven itself to be a segment-busting supercar with levels of power and performance once reserved for vehicles that just a couple of years ago, were significantly more expensive and competed in a completely different part of the market. The tuners over at Mansory have now worked their magic on it, making it even crazier.

Mansory describes its upgrade package for the 296 GTB as the ‘Tempesta.’ A number of bold visual additions have been used to make the Ferrari even more striking, starting with the front end where you will see a completely new fascia made up of forged carbon fiber parts, including the front splitter and front grille surrounds, complete with red pinstripes.

A set of forged wheels measuring 21×9 at the front and 22×11.5 at the rear and wrapped in 255/30 front and 335/25 rear tires have also been installed. The aggressive design of the spokes suits the Italian stallion brilliantly. The variety of new parts developed by Mansory continues with forged carbon fiber louvers on the front fenders, new wing mirrors, and dramatic side skirts, also made from forged carbon fiber.

Mansory’s 870 HP Ferrari 296 GTB Tempesta Is All About Forged Carbon And Yellow Leather

The rear-end of the 296 GTB Tempesta from Mansory takes obvious design inspiration from the Ferrari FXX K and rocks a pair of aerodynamic winglets in place of a traditional rear wing. The car also has plenty of other forged carbon fiber parts across the rear, including a lip spoiler and a new diffuser.

Mansory has also transformed the car’s interior. Adorning the seats, dashboard, transmission tunnel, center console, and parts of the steering wheel is bright yellow leather with red piping. The 296 also receives custom carpets, additional carbon fiber accents, and a variety of red accents around the air vents and the cupholder.

As standard, the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 and twin electric motors of the Ferrari combine to produce 819 hp. Mansory has developed a new exhaust system for the car and has also made some alterations to the ECU, meaning it is now rated at 870 hp and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque.
