The Detroit Auto Show is officially underway as Cadillac has unveiled the 2025 CT5 in the Motor City.
Designed to be sporty and refined, the facelifted sedan adopts an all-new front end with a wider grille. The latter is sure to attract attention as it has chrome and gloss black accents, which shine in sunlight.
The grille is flanked by new LED headlights and extended daytime running lights. The model also has slender turn signals and lighting animations that welcome you as well as say goodbye.

The styling changes continue with a new bumper that has angular lines and sportier intakes. Buyers will also find updated taillights and a revised color palette that now includes Deep Space Metallic as well as Typhoon Metallic.
Customers looking for something more expressive can opt for the CT5 Sport. It stands out from the crowd thanks to an aggressive front bumper and a black mesh grille. The CT5 Sport also trades bright chrome for menacing black accents.
An All-New 33-Inch Curved Display
While the CT5 has always been a nice car, its interior has felt dated due to analog gauges and a 10-inch infotainment system. That’s no longer the case as the facelifted model has been equipped with a lightly revised dash and a 33-inch curved display. The latter features a customizable user interface as well as a 9K resolution.
The display is broken up into three sections and users will find a vastly improved infotainment system with Google built-in. This provides access to Google Assistant, Google Maps, and the Google Play app store.
The rest of the cabin largely carries over, but a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot replaces the previous 4G system. Buyers will also find plenty of available amenities including a heated steering wheel and leather front seats with heating, ventilation, and massage functions.
Two Engines And Available All-Wheel Drive

The engine lineup carries over and includes a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 237 hp (177 kW / 240 PS) and 258 lb-ft (349 Nm) of torque. Customers can also get an excellent twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6, which produces 335 hp (250 kW / 340 PS) and 405 lb-ft (548 Nm) of torque.
Both are connected to a smooth-shifting ten-speed automatic transmission, which sends power to the rear wheels. Customers looking for cold-weather traction can also get an optional all-wheel drive system.
On the safety front, there are a handful of newly standard features including Blind Zone Steering Assist and Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking. Buyers will also find enhanced Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning.
We’ll learn more details closer to launch, but Intelligent Speed Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition technology will be available as options. Customers will also be able to get the Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system with a Driver Attention Assist function.
Arrives Next Year, Performance Variants To Follow
The 2025 Cadillac CT5 will go into production next spring at the Lansing Grand River Assembly plant in Michigan. Pricing will be announced closer to launch, but the outgoing model starts at $44,095.
Performance fans don’t have to fret as Cadillac confirmed the facelifted CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing will debut in the future.
