Jaguar is introducing an on-demand rental service for the electric I-Pace for the residents of two luxurious apartment complexes in Manchester and Leeds in the UK.

Through a collaboration with British apartment group MODA Living, Jaguar will give residents of Angel Gardens in Manchester and New York Square in Leeds the chance to book an I-Pace for up to 48 hours through a dedicated platform. Support will be handled by the 24-hour concierge teams at both of the apartment complexes and rental fees include insurance, charging costs, valeting, and maintenance.

“At Jaguar, we are carefully considering every aspect of our client journey as we progress to an all-electric luxury car company from 2025,” Jaguar managing director Rawdon Glover said in a press release. “As we explore alternatives to direct car ownership, this scheme provides a client-centered mobility solution with on-demand concierge access to the all-electric I-PACE. Future Jaguar clients are continually looking for alternatives to car purchasing and we will closely monitor the success of this initiative and consider expanding across major cities around the world.”

 Jaguar Offers On-Demand I-Pace Rental Service To Luxurious Apartment Residents

Jaguar’s decision to use the I-Pace makes sense as it is the brand’s only current EV but it did recently confirm that it will be replaced as part of the brand’s move up the market and overhauled to become a Bentley rival. We suspect that Jaguar is also hopeful that this program will open the eyes of the apartment residents to the brand and potentially translate into sales when the brand’s new range of models start to arrive in 2025.

All future Jaguar models will be underpinned by the common JEA (Jaguar Electric Architecture) and the first is going to be a four-door GT expected to start from around £100,000 or $125,000. This new model will be the most powerful Jaguar ever and use batteries from Tata. It should have a range of around 430 miles (692 km).
