Quite often, cars offered up for sale by IAAI have been involved in crashes and require extensive repairs. However, this particular 2023 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat just listed up for sale is different as it doesn’t seem like it was a crash that took it off the road. Instead, it appears to be riddled with bullet holes.

As is typical with auctions like this, very few details have been provided to explain how and why the Dodge ended up in this sorry state. The listing notes that it had been stolen but doesn’t mention why it ended up with so many bullet holes. Regardless of what the explanation is, it seems likely that it could be repaired without costing a fortune.

Three of the most visible bullet holes can be seen on the passenger-side front quarter panel and on the hood. You will also notice there are at least five bullet holes in the windshield and a couple of large dents on the front passenger door. Every single side window has also been shot out, as has the rear window. The Durango may not look pretty but repairing it may simply require a few new body panels and new windows.

IAAI notes that the Durango SRT Hellcat only has 382 miles (615 km) under its belt and that it continues to run and drive. Given how desirable the super SUV has become since it was first launched, it would be a shame if there isn’t anyone out there willing to save it and give it a second chance at life.

At the start of September, Stellantis confirmed that the Durango SRT Hellcat would survive through the 2024 model year, something that can’t be said about the potent Hellcat-powered Ram 1500 TRX. In the Durango SRT Hellcat, the firm’s 6.2-liter supercharged V8 churns out 710 hp and 645 lb-ft (874 Nm) of torque, allowing the SUV to hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 3.5 seconds and reach a 180 mph (290 km/h) top speed.
