Hyundai is set to continue the facelift spree with the updated version of the Tucson compact SUV, with our reader Stephen spotting a heavily camouflaged prototype in Gibraltar. The same guy came across the all-new Hyundai Santa Fe flaunting its boxy shape in a parking lot.

Believe it or not, the fourth-generation Hyundai Tucson is already three years old, and a facelifted model is expected to debut later this year. The futuristic styling still looks quite fresh, so Hyundai designers will likely apply mild visual updates, focused on tweaked bumpers and fresh LED graphics.

The latest prototype featured the traditional zebra-style camouflage wrap and a second layer of covers, leaving us guessing. Our reader spotted the SUV while being parked next to a Hyundai Staria minivan somewhere in Gibraltar, a British Overseas Territory on the southern coast of Spain.

Interestingly, Stephen spotted another Hyundai SUV fresh out of the oven, this time without any sign of camouflage. The all-new fifth-gen Hyundai Santa Fe was parked in a similar parking lot, despite the fact that European deliveries are scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2024 (the model is already available in Korea).

The pictured example of the new SUV came with covered Hyundai emblems. The Santa Fe which debuted formally last month, is characterized by a larger and significantly boxier exterior compared to its predecessor, although it is more aerodynamic. As with the smaller Tucson, the budget alternative to the Land Rover Defender will be available with petrol, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrains depending on the market.
