A man who attacked numerous motorists in Southern California throughout 2022 and early 2023 has been sentenced to five years in prison for his crimes.

The man, 36-year-old Nathaniel Walter Radimak, first came across our radar in February when videos went viral of him attacking motorists with a pipe while driving his Tesla Model X. He quickly became known as the ‘Tesla road rage guy’ and was arrested by the California Highway Patrol on January 11. He was convicted on felony counts including criminal threats, vandalism, assault, and elder abuse.

Radimak allegedly terrorized at least 10 people in separate incidents throughout California during a series of violent road rage attacks. One of them occurred on the 101 Freeway last November and was caught on dashcam, footage that would prove pivotal in identifying the man and getting him convicted.

In this attack, the 36-year-old forced a female driver to pull over before approaching with a pipe and hitting her car multiple times. “He went around me and completely stopped, and this was on a full freeway, and just got out of the car and started hitting me,” the driver told ABC 7. “I felt if I didn’t get away, he would have cracked my window.”

While Radimak will be spending the next five years behind bars, there are some who think he should be locked up for longer. Indeed, some of the alleged victims mentioned in the criminal complaint didn’t get convictions. A number of other alleged victims also assert that their cases were never submitted to the district attorney’s office.

One victim, identified only as Garcia, also expressed concern about how Radimak may act when he gets out of prison.

“I just feel like he is going to get out and be infuriated, especially since all our names are out in public record, for the majority of us,” she said.
