The Chery range in Australia is set to expand with confirmation that the Tiggo 7 Pro is heading Down Under where it will be priced from AU$39,990 ($25,790).

Three versions of the Tiggo 7 Pro will be sold locally. Kicking off the range is the Urban priced from AU$39,990. As with all versions, it is powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol engine that produces 137 kW (183 hp) at 5,500 rpm and 275 Nm (203 lb-ft) of torque at 2,000 rpm. This engine is coupled to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and drives the front wheels in the Urban and Elite versions while the flagship Ultimate AWD has all-wheel drive.

Among the key standard features of the Tiggo 7 Pro Urban include LED exterior lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, eight airbags, a driver monitoring system, heated front seats, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, ambient lighting, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Those who splurge AU$41,990 ($27,080) on the mid-range Tiggo 7 Pro Elite also get a 360-degree camera, auto-folding mirrors, a power tailgate, an optional black roof, air quality management system, negative ion air freshener, and a cargo blind.

 China’s Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Launches In Australia From AU$39,990

Sitting at the top of the range is the aforementioned Tiggo 7 Pro Ultimate AWD priced from AU$45,990 ($29,660). It comes standard with 19-inch alloy wheels, six drive modes, red front brake calipers, memory mirrors, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, ventilated front seats, and a memory driver’s seat.

The latest Chery is 4,513 mm (177.6 inches) long, 1,862 mm (73.3 inches) wide, 1,696 mm (66.7 inches) tall and has a 2,670 mm (105.1-inch) wheelbase. Sold exclusively as a five-seater, it has 626 liters (22.1 cubic feet) of cargo space in the rear or 1,672 liters (59 cubic feet) with the rear seats folded flat. Among the key highlights of the cabin are the twin 12.3-inch displays and the eight-speaker Sony audio system. Wireless phone charging is also standard on all models.
