A new set of spy shots reveals that the upcoming facelifted 2025 Cadillac Escalade will get an overhauled interior, mirroring that of the fully electric Escalade IQ that was unveiled last month.

In a quest to avoid sibling rivalry, Cadillac designers gave the petrol model the massive 55-inch display of its electric counterpart. A large portion of the dashboard is covered in vinyl but we can still see hints of the redesigned climate vents, and the additional reclining touchscreen on the center console. The steering wheel is sourced from the Celestiq and the Escalade IQ featuring two spokes and an array of touch-sensitive buttons.

The dashboard of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ

Unlike the common interior, the ICE-powered facelifted Escalade lineup will look different than the electric IQ version. Since this is a facelifted model, a large portion of the bodywork will be carried over from the current Escalade – as with a similar powertrain lineup. Still, the front and rear ends will receive a comprehensive redesign, which the latest camouflaged prototypes try to hide under heavy covers.

At the front, the new vertically-stacked LED lighting units are mounted higher than before, likely replacing the vertical headlights of the current model. The large grille has a new v-shaped pattern, mirroring the revised lower bumper intake and showing that this is a prototype of the performance-focussed Escalade V. Cadillac employees took the time to wrap the new 24-inch wheels in camouflage, but we can still see their six-spoke design and six-lug nuts (rather than the eight-lug nuts found on the heavier Escalade IQ). Moving over at the back, changes appear to be focused on the revised LED taillights that could get the split treatment and may have a different shape than before. The prototype features the quad tailpipes of the Escalade V and appears to have a slightly revised rear bumper.

We don’t have an exact date for the debut of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade but given that the IQ version has already been revealed and the prototypes have started peeling out some of their camouflage, it won’t be long until the model breaks cover.
